Collaborate with composers to create music that amplifies the meaning and power of words. Poet Alan Bern and professional musicians will lead step-by-step activities to compose unique, expressive poetry and then pair it with music that fits the mood. Brings everyone's voice to the table and the stage by using poetry to explore issues of self-identity, relationships with nature, our place in the world, and silly things that just make us feel good. All funds donated to the Berkeley Art Center by the performers.
